Thank you again for all of the effort that you put into your blog...it is making a difference in this man's life...and my life has a great influence on many other lives...In His Grip.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-63376129529113698452009-05-08T22:21:00.000-05:002009-05-08T22:21:00.000-05:00This reminds me of a past co-worker I was sharing ...This reminds me of a past co-worker I was sharing the gospel with. He grew up with some experiences spending time with a pentecostal youth group. He later grew up to live a very very promiscuous drinking and drug- filled life. He shrugs the gospel off as a religious story and saw me as a misled youth with my own "truth." He was like a combination of the unbelieving pharisee mixed with the harlot. He found himself to be spiritually alright and in no danger, in light of repentance, faith, and eternal judgment. I have mainly lived in northern Minnesota and Wisconsin. I wish people responded to the gospel like those who lived in far off lands. We read of those who first encountered it in Acts and in the testimonies of modern day missionaries. We hear of poorer countries receiving the gospel and true revival saving the lost. Here in my "neck of the woods" I am shocked at the incredible amount of "spiritual inoculation" there is. It consists of some sort of spiritual framework that is just enough to satisfy the conscious and lull the soul into a mind- numbing stupor. I have met and worked with countless men in this spiritual state, and it grieves me. Trying to find a seeking thirsty soul in this area is a very very rare find. They are there, and I have met a few in my life time.

Michael, thank you for your writing. I have been knocked from spiritual stupors, on several occasions, by your grandfather and yourself. God uses his spiritual hammer to wrap me upside the head once in a while :)
.Samnoreply@blogger.com
