There are many many many other blessings, like soap, yogurt in a cup, abundance of Bibles, microwaves, laundry machines, tooth paste, not being arrested and beaten at church, ect.Sam Larsonnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-66815026347811739932011-07-12T07:54:50.132-05:002011-07-12T07:54:50.132-05:00Some people never have enough and hoard what they ...Some people never have enough and hoard what they have and then wave it in the face of others like it makes them more special. Others try to tear down people who have things, whether material or even spiritual and characterwise, just out of spite for seeing someone else have something good.

These people are negative and a drain on the soul to be around them. We can never fully appreciate all that we have since we take much of it for granted. It helps to meditate on what you are grateful for with each day. If you can force yourself to make a list every day, you will be more in a mindset of gratitude and thankfulness.

What really hurts is when people take from you what you give with a good heart and blessings, and use it to spite you. That I don't understand. You would think even your enemy would be humiliated by a gift, but that is not always so. People often take advantage of those who give, especially after evoking their sympathy on purpose in order to get from them.

I wonder if these people are ever happy with themselves, or if they just count whatever they get as so much garbage. I think some people would rather steal than accept with gratitude a gift from others. They have so much hate and arrogance that they can't accept anyone else being able to do anything for them.

If I can't feel grateful to someone, I would rather not take their gift. Otherwise it is like a root of bitterness.Barbaranoreply@blogger.com
