This ...This may have been for me, Brother Michael. This morning I tried to explain to a relative my sense of urgency about needing to pray and spend more time with the Lord; his response (he is a Christian) was to imply that I was a spiritual elitist and wimpy for spending time in prayer when I should be "out there" as a missionary or Christian teacher impacting hundreds with my gifts. Those are the "important" ministries, not wasting hours praying. It was a "cop-out." I got off the phone and cried. I don't think I'm going to discuss it with him any more. He does not have the same hunger I have for more of Jesus, though I know God has used him in the past to reach others for the Kingdom.<br /><br />A sadder, but hopefully wiser sister in Christ.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
