Sodom and Then Some

Now that the horse is out of the barn and proudly prancing in some parade or another many a Christian has seen fit to take to the internet and decry the ease with which thousands of years of precedent, Biblical council, and human reason were dispatched in order to facilitate the whims of a handful of deviant individuals.

As one would expect, the comparisons with Sodom have been plentiful, and I have yet to read an article on the topic that was able to keep itself from quoting the now infamous, ‘if God doesn’t soon bring judgment upon America, He’ll have to go back and apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah!’, widely attributed to Billy Graham, but whose actual originator was his wife Ruth.

I realize the following may be a shock to the system, but we’ve got Sodom and Gomorrah beat by more than a nose, or to use racing parlance, by more than a lap.

Cringe worthy as it may sound, we have surpassed both Sodom and Gomorrah in dark deeds for one specific yet undeniable reason: not only have we embraced sin wholesale, we have set upon exporting it to the world, and putting pressure on lesser countries to embrace the selfsame sin!

Sodom’s sins were contained to Sodom. Sodom did not have ambassadors offering financial incentives, immigrant visa packages, and interest free loans if only the nation in question would validate perversion and call it normal.

Sodom’s sins were its own, and there was a noticeable delineation between the men of Sodom, and the one righteous man also inhabiting the city. The Sodomites just wanted the men who came to visit Lot. They didn’t demand Lot deny his God, or bake them a cake to celebrate their depravity.

We have supposedly Christian denominations telling their parishioners things which are antithetical to Scripture, demanding they toe the line and stick to the prescribed talking points, all in a mad rush to be seen as tolerant of sin rather than obedient of God.

We are, by far, worse than Sodom because we have made countless little ones to stumble by removing repentance from our lexicon of oft repeated words. We have grieved the heart of God not in ignorance but with the full knowledge of what His Word says.

We have abandoned truth, and once more betrayed the Lord for far less than thirty pieces of silver, while the hirelings continue to repeat the lies they’ve contrived in order to continue living lives of duplicity and hypocrisy, wholly devoid of righteousness or sanctification.

We are, by far, worse than Sodom because we chose to trample upon the blood of the only begotten Son of God as though it were some worthless thing, all in the name of a perverted definition of love. We have turned our backs to true love – a love the men of Sodom were never privy to – and embraced a counterfeit all the while celebrating our depravity.

So the next time you hear someone comparing America to Sodom, realize we’ve surpassed them in many ways, and by the time the tale is told and the final nail is hammered into the coffin of what was once America, we will have surpassed them in every way.

Matthew 18:6-7, “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believes in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe to the world because of offenses! For offenses must come, but woe to the man by whom the offense comes!”

With love in Christ,
Michael Boldea Jr.

To whom much is given much is required.
We've been blessed more than any other nation in history and look how America has repaid God for His goodness.
This is the evidence of the evil and depravity in the heary of man that God will remove by His terrible judgments.
Just as it was in Noah's day, the wicked were clueless up to their last breath.
Sad to say this will be the majority of the church that traded their salt for sweet sugar.

I know I’m not the only one who senses that time has speeded up. Maybe that’s a good thing because everyday now there’s a new atrocity shoved into our faces. I also know that we have rapidly come to the point where we will either stand or capitulate regardless what our closest friends and family think or do. Within my own circles I am already faced with choosing to be silent or cause dissension. Tough choices are in front of us now. Incredibly tough.

Excellent points Michael

Soon our Lord return and these thiefs will
Answer to our Lord for their sins.
Stealing is stealing. Even if it sanctioned by
An out of control government.
As Jesus predicted, there will be much weeping
And gnashing of teeth in those days.
The end times are here.www.twenty5twenty.net

The events of Daniel 12 have finally begun....starting in Greece....the events will continue on and escalate with similar misery in France, Holland, Italy, Germany, etc. There will be a civil war situation in Europe. America will not escape the misery either. Time is extremely short. Fear is setting down, distress is spreading everywhere! Our only hope is to be sealed with the seal of God so that we can be protected.

This is from my High Plains Drifter blog:

"A Vision about George Washington and America"

[4 July 2015]

Earlier today I got a ride from Lewiston to Grangeville, Idaho. I walked out of Grangeville about a half mile and this car pulled over to give me a ride. It was an older couple. They knew some friends of mine that lived in the Kooskia neighborhood. They said that they could drop me off at my friends' place.

As we were driving down the road, the husband told me about a vision that an ex-Muslim had from the Lord. He had been a dyed-in-the-wool Muslim for a number of years and then he surrendered his life to Jesus Christ. He had been in hiding because he had a lot of death threats from his Muslim family.

Here is the ex-Muslim's vision:

He saw the Lord in all of His glory. Then he saw George Washington kneeling before the Lord. George Washington was pleading with the Lord and said, "Please don't let the wicked take over my country [the United States]."

The Lord replied, "I will not let the wicked take over your country, but I will have to destroy it first."

It's a proper analogy, however, it has now become a global S&G! There is filth from one end to the other!

If we are (faithful) to the end, HE will give us a crown of life!

So whatever happens to believers, remember, you are doing it for the sake of JESUS CHRIST!

Family and friends will just have to take a back seat, because we have work to do, now, and in the millennial reign!

Manifest Destiny has always been the original sin of the United States of A. When people decide what God's will is, what occurs is the creation of a horrible beast - God made in man's image (or imagination).

No country has surpassed the USA in the atrocities of genocide, slavery and shrouding the world with the reality and continued threat of nuclear annihilation.

If God brings this country down, it will only be because we brought it on ourselves and that is what comes of "playing God".

Gay marriage is minuscule in comparison to the widespread corruption we have perpetrated.

It's time this country look with clear vision at what we are actually doing, take responsibility and become obedient to God's Will, casting out our own self-will.
