I so appreciate your blogs and read...Dear Michael,

I so appreciate your blogs and read them diligently.
I do, however, feel frustrated whenever you talk about the church being silent in the face of the evil going on around us.
I keep wondering, what are we supposed to do? Standing on a street corner with a placard is not the most effective way of protesting anything.
A preacher who thunders from the pulpit against those who advocate infanticide are (hopefully) preaching to the choir.
Writing letters to our congressmen is all too often nothing more than more work for the postal service who shuttle back with those form letters thanking us for writing.
I pray. I post pro-life posts on Facebook, all too often having to argue with some liberal friend who has been blinded to the truth.
I work at a local pregnancy center. That's me as an individual.
So how does the church get more involved? When the March for Life happened recently in DC, I watched the posts showing the whole time-lapsed parade. Thousands and thousands of people. Heard rom the media? Crickets.
They were too busy lamenting the lesser turnout of the vagina-headed women's rights marchers. Or hate-mongering against some pro-life Catholic students.
I understand your frustration. I share it. But I also feel frustrated because I don't know what I can do more than I currently am doing.

Blessings,

Nancy T.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
