It is very well written and puts into biblical and concise terms the apostasy that we are seeing today. Indeed, may all read this article and be warned to come out of Babylon, if you haven't already, so that we won't share in her plagues.

Thanks brother and God bless you! May we all take a stand for truth and seek not only feed the sheep in due season, but also to resist the devil and route the wolves posing as sheep.

Amen!

Brother AndrewAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-77267243588014359652007-10-30T05:02:00.000-05:002007-10-30T05:02:00.000-05:00This post reads like a primer for something thats ...This post reads like a primer for something thats about to happen...JeepThanghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13767294480029942250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-6093587557141080742007-10-29T19:28:00.000-05:002007-10-29T19:28:00.000-05:00Amen. Jude

5I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.

6And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

7Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

20But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,

21Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

22And of some have compassion, making a difference:

23And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

24Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,

25To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. I know what you mean when you talk about a surge of fear. Through these things God has helped me to fear no one but Him. I still have moments when they want to start, but I too have His Word that I repeat in my mind to calm me down.

Just think, you and I and others are being prepared for what is to come upon this earth. Unfortunately, many will die for the fear of what is happening. But we can then cry out that we do not have to fear once we are in Christ.

God Bless,
JeffAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-81064363134722207222007-10-29T16:46:00.000-05:002007-10-29T16:46:00.000-05:00A timely word, Michael. It certainly shows just how fickle peoples' hearts are, how quickly they forget, and how quickly the tide of public thinking can change. We can never, ever trust ourselves to man. History repeats this over and over. And how quick we can also be to forget the Lord's provision to us - I have many significant incidents where the Lord has provided for me, and remained true and faithful to His promises yet I too have doubted at times. However we increasingly know that He is the only safe place to be, when all else around goes crazy. We have major drought here in Australia too, but man is still seeking his own solutions. Thanks Michael.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-26946399507107200322007-10-29T15:31:00.000-05:002007-10-29T15:31:00.000-05:00May God bless you, Kelly. You show good faith in kn...May God bless you, Kelly.
You show good faith in knowing God is not abandoning you when you have these attacks.
I will pray specifically for you and I'm sure others will too.

Mrs. PughAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-80743439223039745242007-10-29T13:03:00.000-05:002007-10-29T13:03:00.000-05:00Yes Brother Michael fire on the west coast drought...Yes Brother Michael fire on the west coast drought on the east coast. I wonder how long it is going to take everyone to stop putting their trust in man and start putting their trust in God. Or are men going to be as those in Revelation 16:9 "And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory." Don't give up on us all Bro Michael, we need to be exhorted to draw ever closer to The Lord and stay repentant before HIM.A Seed Sowerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13712021930784104817noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-48595874681934790822007-10-29T12:42:00.000-05:002007-10-29T12:42:00.000-05:00Greetings Michael, thank you for providing a home ...Greetings Michael, thank you for providing a home for the scattered sheep. It ...Dear Michael,

Your post today was exceptional! It brings to mind the very battle that I am going through right now and the answer for victory in the midst of my battle.

I have suffered from panic attacks since 1999. Fortunately, it's not an everyday occurance but I have had at least 6 major panic attacks. These attacks are the closest thing to Hell on earth that I have ever experienced.

It's hard to describe the surge of fear that forces itself through my body when they hit. They are very violent attacks that cause nausea and vomiting and most recently a patch of my hair completely fell out becasue of an attack I had a few months back. This hair loss threw me into another panic attack and I finally had to go to the doctor, who confirmed that my hair loss was from the previous panic attack.

During an attack the enemy does his best to persuade me that God has abandoned me and will leave me in the dark pit of despair.

But I have found a way out of the darkness. With the Lord's guidance I made myself a book of scriptures addressed to me personally from the Lord. I then read them out loud everyday, as many times as needed until the darkness is flooded with the light of God's Word.

Scriptures like; Kelly, "You have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as my daughter crying out Abba! Father." (Romans 8:15) Kelly, "Come to me if you are weary and carry heavy loads, and I will giveyou rest." Matthew 11:28 "For I, the Lord, am faithful in all I say. I am gracious in all I do. I help the fallen and lift up those bent beneath their loads." Psalm 145:13,14 "With my love I will calm all of your fears." Zephania 3:17 "For I have not given you a spirit of fear, but of love, power, and a sound mind."2 Timothy 1:7 "Don't be afraid, for you are deeply loved by God. Be at peace; take heart and be strong." Daniel 10:19 "Give your burdens to me, Your Lord, and I will take care of you. I will not allow the godly to slip and fall." Psalm 55:22 "With this news I will strengthen your tired hands, and encourage your weak knees. I say to you, "Be not afraid, be strong, for I am coming to destroy your enemies. I am coming to save you."' Is. 35:3-4

I use to believe that my victory could only be found in the absence of the panic attacks. But I now understand that my victory is found in the midst of an attack as I have faith and believe that God has not abandoned me, nor will he leave me in the dark pit of despair.

Though I long for the day, and I do believe it will come, when I no longer have to suffer from panic attacks. I am content knowing that I can rejoice in God's Word like one who finds a great treasure, (Psalm 119:162) becasue His Words are truth revealed. "Remember your promise to me, for it is my only hope. Your Word revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles." Psalm 119:49,50Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-68309483319871533622007-10-29T12:27:00.000-05:002007-10-29T12:27:00.000-05:00Brother Michael,I can't believe it but just before...Brother Michael,
I can't believe it but just before this post showed up I sent a comment regarding the Exodus under the post about the "pan theory"!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-76223103214958433432007-10-29T12:09:00.000-05:002007-10-29T12:09:00.000-05:00"the people lost faith and began to murmur"When th..."the people lost faith and began to murmur"
When the well dries up and the 401 K is no more and the grocery stor shelves are empty ,how will we react ?
We think we're different ,better than those folks but that's just pride and presumption.
Those saints fed on a diet of early ecsapeism and no suffering only blessing from the hand of God ,they're not going to be prepared and will be the first to murmer, complain and what Jesus said ; betray one another, fall away ,hate one another
Matt.10-11
Those people freed from slavery on the long journey to the promised land ,thats us and jesus said it clearly He that endureth to the end ,the same shall be saved.
There are no short cuts to the peomised land as so many con men in sheeps costume have sold us on.

The Judas Church
http://standeyo.com/NEWS/07_Faith/071028.Judas.church.html
Like Hophni and Phinehas, who despised the offering of the Lord (see 1 Sam. 2:17) and who committed sexual immorality (see v. 22), or like their father, Eli, who knew of his sons' immorality but failed to restrain them (see 1 Sam. 3:13), some modern-day ecclesiastical leaders pretend to serve God while heaping burning coals on their own heads. However, if you defy their flowery sentiments and out of faithfulness to Christ deny the legitimacy of, or obedience to, their new homosexual bishop, then one way or the other, these paragons of inclusiveness will crush you. We have only just begun to see what they will do with dissenters.

Like Judas Iscariot, the leaders of this apostasy pretend to break bread with our Lord. As if donning costumes to disguise their union with Baal, they wear the white robes instituted by God at Sinai to reflect the holy calling of the priest (see Ex. 28:39-43; Lev. 16:4). With professions of love for Christ they betray Him, as it were, with a kiss, selling their souls for power, prestige and pieces of silver.
Because of his ongoing duplicity, there came a time when Satan entered Judas and he went out to betray the Lord (see Luke 22:1-6). This is why I do not expect to see any turnaround in those denominations that have been living in compromise—supporting the murder of children in their mothers' wombs, knowingly ordaining practicing homosexuals and adulterers, forsaking the Word of God as their infallible guide for faith and doctrine, and teaching others to do the same.

When you see the abomination in the holy place, it is already too late. In other words, when you see the overt display of apostasy being sanctioned by the majority of the leaders within a denomination, Satan has already gained too much ground for that communion to be saved. Having forsaken God's expressed will for so long, having denied themselves the grace of God that flows only to the repentant heart, having refused to demonstrate their professed love of Him through obedience, they have built their houses on sand and are going down.

God will not override the ongoing willful choices of human beings. He will give them into the hands of their lovers, and it will be those lovers who punish them. Satan has entered the ECUSA and other denominations already, and the final act of betrayal is at hand. The only choice faithful followers of Christ have left to them at this point is to flee from the wrath that is to come—to flee before they become so deceived through sloth and compromise that they stand staring into the coming destruction and are lost.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
