They claim it is Christ's birthday but it is really the birthday of a pagan God who starts the year all over again. God almighty doens't like it at all. He said to stay away from the sacred groves, which sound like Christmas trees.<br /><br />Merriment is part of the pagan ritual orgies. The spirit of Christ is one of shalom or wholeness and strength. You don't get this as part of the Christmas spirit. Joy is great but it comes and goes. Feeling joy at getting gifts seems petty and commercial.<br /><br />The whole family and friends aspect is very corny because you either have that all year or you don't. It just kind of emphasises for those without their lonliness, so that more suicides are attempted at this time of year than any other.<br /><br />People like to celebrate Christmas as being part of the general culture, but if you don't, I think you get blessed for it. God will say thank you for sacrificing the customs of the pagans for him, instead of trying to just stick his son's name on the whole thing.Barbaranoreply@blogger.com
