I was told that Matthew 24 was out of context for the rapture, that that chapter was only for the Jews. I then said that if that chapter was out of context, then the whole Bible was out of context. I was eventually asked to leave the church...

I had never been able to hold onto the pre-trib concept after that, then I heard of a man called Duduman and in 2004 for the first time heard of the posibility of what I'd read and felt in my heart all those years.

I know that there are those who will disagree with me, but in my heart of hearts, I feel that we will be here for things to come.

Brother Michael, please don't hold back with what the Lord has shown you, we are listening.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-35393349722784832332012-09-29T19:49:12.760-05:002012-09-29T19:49:12.760-05:00Thanks, Michael for shedding some light on this as...Thanks, Michael for shedding some light on this as I had previously asked you to do. I was brought up in a Baptist church that taught a pre-tribulation rapture very ardently. My father still refuses to consider the possibility of a post-tribulational rapture along with the fact that one can lose his/her righteous standing with God. I concur with your conclusion that if Jesus said it, that settles it in my mind. I just ready, as you stated. You are an inspiration to me to seek God more. Thank you. Stay strong.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-88056781323356332502012-09-28T16:16:49.939-05:002012-09-28T16:16:49.939-05:00Michael, There are plenty of scriptures to prove ...Michael, There are plenty of scriptures to prove the pretrib stance, but then we just get into scripture wars. What I think you dont see is that the 5 foolish virgins left behind are those that came out of great tribulation and made their robes white. The 5 wise virgins already made their robes white living in the fear of God before the great tribulation. I would not be so quick to judge your pretrib brothers if I were you. God bless you, brother. I...When you recover from your dental persecutions:

I agree that we don't get evacuated before life gets a bit difficult, but I have 2 questions --
1. Isn't there some scriptural basis for the idea that we get raptured at some point before the absolute end of the show, but the unsaved don't notice anything except our absence -- and then LATER Christ appears in a way that is obvious even to unbelievers?

2. If we get raptured at the very end, how does that make sense? What are we being removed from if everything bad has already happened - as Chuck Missler says, a post-trib rapture is like Christ saying to His bride, "Hey, let's get married - I'll beat the living daylights out of you and then we'll go out for dinner!" ???

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-20879682987346705462012-09-28T10:18:16.314-05:002012-09-28T10:18:16.314-05:00Thank you consistently standing on the truth of Go...Thank you consistently standing on the truth of God's Word. You could not have stated this more clearly. I believe we are reaching the point where those who refuse to set aside their idolatrous doctrines instead of simply trusting Christ’s simple gospel, are treading on dangerously thin ice and the day is coming when those who choose not to have eyes to see will be blinded so they cannot see. Are we being sifted? Are we tares or wheat? Goats or sheep? Foolish virgins or wise?

This morning I read David Wilkerson’s devotional that also addressed this and, for me at least, this is an ongoing confirmation that this is a timely and important topic.

For Christ,
Meema

Idolatry Brings Deception by David Wilkerson September 28, 2012
http://www.worldchallenge.org/en/node/19751meemahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09104303592278897991noreply@blogger.com
