It reads very similar to Rev. 18 which is about Mystery Babylon (America).
As you said, "a warning and foreshadowing."

SteveAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-65419117129498693982011-06-03T11:41:57.000-05:002011-06-03T11:41:57.000-05:00Ezekiel 33:6, "But if the watchman sees the s...Ezekiel 33:6, "But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at the watchman's hand."
Let me begin to answer your commment by saying that I do what I do for a very selfish reason. The reason I do what I do, is so that on that great day, when we all stand before the throne of God, no blood will be required of my hands. No, I do not believe that the message I preach, the visions I've received, or the visions my grandfather has received are reason for fear, but rather reason for hope. In His love God forewarns His children, that they might prepare, that they might not be overcome by what they will see with their own eyes, but rather knowing that God forewarned of these things, they will have absolute trust that God will keep His promise and protect them through it.
God protects His own, and in this we hope, in this we glory, that having surrendered our hearts to Him, having repented, and having been sanctified, if we live, we live for Him, and if we die in Him. We are no longer our own, our lives are now His, and as a good Father He keeps us.
So, if you get that job opportunity in LA or New York, first pray, and if God says go, then go, because He will protect you even in the midst of chaos. If you meet your soulmate, then yes, get married, because family is pleasing in the sight of God, and if He gives you children, then receive them as His blessing. He will protect, He will provide, He will keep.
I have never, and will never promote fear, but I do encourage people to be sober minded, and aware of the times and the seasons they are living in, and get serious with God. I hope I've answered your question, glad you don't compare me to old Harold.
With love in Christ,
Michael Boldea Jr.Michael Boldea Jr.https://www.blogger.com/profile/09695469447648193872noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-87843471792027827422011-06-03T11:14:02.982-05:002011-06-03T11:14:02.982-05:00Mike,

I can tell you take scripture very seriously and have no doubt you are not sincere. However, I do wonder what you expect people to do with this information. Repentance yes, but is repentance really valuable when its only motivation is fear?

I'm a young man, only 22 years old. Should I bother trying to find a wife, and having kids? Wouldn't it be irresponsible to bring children into a world where we believe worldwide strife is about to occur? What if I get a job opportunity in LA or New York? Should I turn it down because I'm afraid it will be destroyed? Harold Camping ruined hundreds of people's lives with his doomsday predictions. What makes you any different? (I would like to interject that I do believe you are different, in that you care about what the word actually says and about the people you speak to, but you can see the problems with preaching an "end is nigh" message to people.)

I agree with you that we should be ready at all times for Jesus to return, and for any hardships he might put us through. But I'm not so sure you should be trying to predict the future, regardless of any visions you had. It takes away people's hope, and replaces it with fear. We should be trying to bring God's kingdom to earth NOW, by loving people, by spreading the message of Jesus.

I've been afraid, not just for me but for friends and family that I care about very much, and indeed all of humanity.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1388370369187844627.post-39819495476276207062011-06-03T08:18:17.474-05:002011-06-03T08:18:17.474-05:00I thank the Lord for men like you, Michael, who ar...I thank the Lord for men like you, Michael, who are faithful and true.
