A Dwindling Hope

I must admit, and even confess I possessed a hopeful optimism some fifteen months ago. Seeing the utter collapse and destruction of the prosperity doctrine, long before it rolled upon America's shores, I hoped that preachers, evangelists, and pastors would finally turn to the one truth that matters, and begin preaching Jesus with fervor and conviction. I reasoned in my heart that other than the stumbling block of preaching prosperity, and the widow of Zarapeth every other sermon, there was nothing keeping what some have labeled the most luminary theological minds of our time from returning to the foundation of the faith, to the nexus of Christianity, and focusing in Him, preaching Him, and encouraging their followers to be more like Him.
My hope dear friends is dwindling. It seems that if you can't preach prosperity in American anymore, the next best thing is preaching sex. Like so many lemmings following each other off the cliff, it seems that most churches in America today have discovered a new replacement doctrine for what was the doctrine of prosperity. Yes, it seems the most relevant and important topic of the day, is not rigtheousness or holiness unto God, it is not being reconciled unto the Father, it is not Christ the way, Christ the truth, and Christ the life, but intimacy in the bedroom.
Never mind the fact that God is under siege in this country, never mind the fact that the darkness continues to encroach upon the light unhindered, never mind the fact that now is the opportune time to present Christ to those who are on the brink of despair and hopelessness. First things first, yep, reigniting the flames of passion in the bedroom.
How could we not be called to account for our foolishness? How could we not be called to account for squandering the opportunity to sow the seed of God's word into people's hearts? How could we not be called to account for dismissing and marginalizing Christ in what is to be His temple?
If some of you think it's bad now, as the old saying goes, you haven't seen anything yet.
A friend e-mailed me the other day, and said, 'I'm starting to see why you were so anxious to move back to Romania.' My response to him was succinct and to the point, 'not yet my friend, you haven't seen it yet.'
It seems the 'alarmists' and the 'doom and gloomers' really weren't that off the mark after all, and this is just the drizzle before the storm, the foreshadowing of what is to come.
I do not write these lines to cause fear in any one's heart, but to make you aware of the season you are living in, and as always beseech you to put your hope and trust in He who is able to protect, provide and comfort.
As a nation we are quickening our pace away from God, wanting nothing do with His nature or His will, but still desiring the abundance of His blessing. We trust in our own wisdom, intelligence, and savvy, all the while denying the fact that if God's hand of blessing is removed, nothing we do as individuals will alter the outcome. There is only one hope, and that is true repentance, true brokenness before God, humbly coming to the foot of the cross, and surrendering our all. Will we as a nation do this? I think you already know the answer to that.

With love in Christ,

Michael Boldea Jr.

Postscript: Yesterday I took my little brother Daniel to the airport, as he is returning to Romania. All the guests are gone, and I will have more time to post more often.

Unfortunately Brother Michael I agree with you. As bad as it seems already, it has just begun.
Stuck within my spirit are these words
Eze 9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
Eze 9:5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go ye after him through the city, and smite: let not your eye spare, neither have ye pity:
Eze 9:6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

There is a time for weeping for all that has been lost in Christianity, for the brethern and elect of God that do not yet know how blind, how uncovered they are.
Somewhere within me I do have the joy of the Lord, we must have it for it is our strength and we won't make it through these times without it. Still, I find that the majority of time I find myself weeping for those in the ever increasing darkness, for the decieved and self-deceived as I once was befor God pulled back the veil and gave me eyes to see and ears to hear.
For many years as a "Christian" I thought I received and knew the truth, I thought I had the Light of the Word until I found out that the doctrines I had been taught were lies. I then understood the Word that says "Mat 6:23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is the darkness!" Truely my light was very dark because there was no truth in it.
This is a time for weeping, and I pray that we who have been graced with the truth will all be found to be sealed with the mark that comes from weeping for those in Jerusalem ( the apostate church).
My flesh wishes for a place that it could go so that my eyes would not have to see all that is coming, but Christ in me wishes to be there so that I may be light set upon a high hill.
You are right, "it" isn't here yet and Praise God that gives us time to prepare in Spirit to be light and salt and perhaps to die in that be God's will.
May you and your family be blessed in the Name of Jesus Christ and may all my brehern be hidden in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Psm. 91
Rachele

May I request prayer? I don't normally request prayer openly as I go to God and He knows our needs. Today however I feel led to reach out and ask.
My husband and I are waiting upon the Lord for the manifestation of our healings from 3 disabling illnesses(each). I am home bound and only leave the house maybe 14 times a year. We don't go out to dinner, or to any entertainment whatsoever. We did eat out once two years ago. We don't go to others homes,as when we became unable to attend invitation or to invite others in to our home due to our illnesses, people we knew as friends and even some brethern just went on with their lives and forgot us. We do not have any unforgiveness or anger for this. "Life goes on" and we understand that. We do go to places that we must go to like to the store or a doctors visit ( that is my monthly outing-to the grocery store) and when I get to go God opens doors for me to pray for peoples needs right in the aisles of Walmart. We are still open to be being used by God no matter the circumstances.
Michael is able to drive when he has too. We have no family who is able or willing to help or who are nearby, no Christian brethern to fellowship with or who check on us. We fellowship on line with David Eells' ministry and have done so since 2005. We do talk by phone to other couples from that ministry occasionally (once every 2 months) Outwardly, things are very lonely, and as much as I hate to admit or confess this, "life" is becoming very hard and our ability to take care of daily things is becoming more difficult. One one hand, being weak withing ourselves is the best opportunity we can have as God is strong when we are weak, but we do need our faith to increase to see things in the light of this awesome truth.
The Lord's grace is sufficeint, and He NEVER fails us. We are seeking an answer about moving or asking Him to provide at least one other couple to meet with and fellowship with that are true believers and of course for the manifestaion of our healings so we can begin to take care of ourselves as we need too.
We beleive we have been healed, and have been prayed for as far as healing, we beleive that prayer is answered we just don't see it yet. Our need lies in the need for other people to fellowship with and for help in daily things until our healing is manifested. We really have no one and live in a somewhat rural area.
I thank you humbly for your prayers and thank you for sharing your self and time with us.

2Th 3:2 and that we may be delivered from wrong-headed and wicked men; for it is not everybody who has faith. WNT

Not everybody has faith, and that applies to ministers as much as anyone. Your former hopes for wayward ministers were pure but naive since Christianity is a religious blend of pagan religions and biblical facts, it only figures that some, if not most, are without faith. We have to take our Bibles and step outside the box of Christendom before we have a chance of seeing it for what it really is, just another religion. And in cultures where the Spirit actually moves in power regularly, that is not a purer Christianity, but rather what Jesus and the apostles actually started, The Way.

I am compelled by the Holy Spirit to send out an urgent message to all on our mailing list, and to friends and to bishops we have met all over the world.

AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN.
IT IS GOING TO BE SO FRIGHTENING, WE ARE ALL GOING TO TREMBLE—EVEN THE GODLIEST AMONG US.

For ten years I have been warning about a thousand fires coming to New York City. It will engulf the whole megaplex, including areas of New Jersey and Connecticut. Major cities all across America will experience riots and blazing fires—such as we saw in Watts, Los Angeles, years ago.

There will be riots and fires in cities worldwide. There will be looting—including Times Square, New York City. What we are experiencing now is not a recession, not even a depression. We are under God’s wrath. In Psalm 11 it is written,

“If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (v. 3).

God is judging the raging sins of America and the nations. He is destroying the secular foundations.

The prophet Jeremiah pleaded with wicked Israel, “God is fashioning a calamity against you and devising a plan against you. Oh, turn back each of you from your evil way, and reform your ways and deeds. But they will say, It’s hopeless! For we are going to follow our own plans, and each of us will act according to the stubbornness of his evil heart” (Jeremiah 18:11-12).

In Psalm 11:6, David warns, “Upon the wicked he will rain snares (coals of fire)…fire…burning wind…will be the portion of their cup.” Why? David answered, “Because the Lord is righteous” (v. 7). This is a righteous judgment—just as in the judgments of Sodom and in Noah’s generation.

WHAT SHALL THE RIGHTEOUS DO? WHAT ABOUT GOD’S PEOPLE?

First, I give you a practical word I received for my own direction. Lay in store a thirty-day supply of food, toiletries and other essentials. In major cities, grocery stores are emptied in an hour at the sign of an impending disaster.

As for our spiritual reaction, we have but two options. This is outlined in Psalm 11. We “flee like a bird to a mountain.” Or, as David says, “He fixed his eyes on the Lord on his throne in heaven—his eyes beholding, his eyelids testing the sons of men” (v. 4). “In the Lord I take refuge” (v. 1).

I will say to my soul: No need to run…no need to hide. This is God’s righteous work. I will behold our Lord on his throne, with his eye of tender, loving kindness watching over every step I take—trusting that he will deliver his people even through floods, fires, calamities, tests, trials of all kinds.

Note: I do not know when these things will come to pass, but I know it is not far off. I have unburdened my soul to you. Do with the message as you choose.

God bless and keep you.
In Christ,

* WARNING FROM DAVID WILKERSON-WORLD CHALLENGE-MARCH 07/2009

AN EARTH-SHATTERING CALAMITY IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN.

IT IS GOING TO BE SO FRIGHTENING, WE ARE ALL GOING TO TREMBLE—EVEN THE GODLIEST AMONG US.

Oh, turn back each of you from your evil way, and reform your ways and deeds. But they will say, It’s hopeless! Thank-you Bro Michael for speaking the truth that needs to be spoken. Every Feb 14, you can go to many, many churches and hear a message on marriage and love.. It is so sad. I was just saying last night at a Bible at a home. I do not hear anymore about the blood and the cross anymore. It is sad and it breaks my heart. We as saints need to be weeping between the porch and the altar for the state of the church in this country.

Blessings & Shalom,

The Lord seemed to have branded these words on my heart recently;

Thou wilt keep him in
perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee.
Isaiah 26:3

The Lord Jesus Christ the Prince of Peace is our perfect peace!
I want my mind stayed on him!

In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy comforts delight my soul. Psalm 94:19

Mike,

I've followed your ministry since you spoke as an interpreter for your grandfather...especially in Northwest Florida. Anyways, I sense something is about to happen soon and I remember your grandfather saying the nation will be too busy with internal problems when we are attacked. Back then it was almost impossible to understand how but now we can see not just on the wall but on television what he (your grand dad) was talking about.

God bless,

chuck

Brother Michael,

LOng ago, when your grandfather was here with us he spoke of seeing fires and the coking of God's judgement in this Nation. I remember your grandfather telling us that the church was going to be stunned and that we need to be watchful. YOu too, in your grandfather's footsteps, have done the same thing........... warned us.
Now, Brother David Wilkerson, on March 7th set fother a serious warning, too.
He said (you can check his blog) that a clamity is SOON to be upon us. It will be so bad that even the most God;y among us will be shaken.

We should not wonder at this. Between "prosperity" and now "sex" coming from our pulpits no one should wonder why the LOrd has seen fit to bring judgment. What we should wonder is WHY it has taken so long!
