Yeah I have been ganged up on by so called believers who just like talking fictituous gossip behind your back for their own kickes. It is hard to know what to do in that situation. It is very hurtful to see people you trusted and liked just start trashing you on a dime.
I think God will take care of it once you learn to rest in him instead of the words of others. What they think and say does not matter to your soul, it is what God says that matters. If God says he will preserve you no matter what, then he will.
It is a chance to show your faith and grow in your obedience not to fly off the handle in response. A true Christian rises above the pettiness that other Christians think is their God given right.
