Not So Harmless After All

So it’s settled. No further discussion need be had, no insistence upon scouring Biblical text to see the truth contained therein, just take it at face value and move along: Jesus died so Creflo Dollar could get his 65 million dollar jet. If you haven’t as yet mortgaged your home and sent him the proceeds thereof, you possess no faith, and as such you will never reach the heights of prosperity wherein you may one day hope to own a shack in the same zip code as Creflo.

Serving Jesus sure is profitable. How could you not have people lining up around the block for a chance at the brass ring when they are continually told that once they’ve signed the contract and become an ambassador of the Lord, riches the likes of which mere mortals can only dream of are theirs for the taking.

In case you thought the desire for a new private jet was for some trifling reason, Creflo made it abundantly clear it was so he could go and preach the gospel. So naysayers, be gone. This is not so much a want as it is a need, granted a 65 million dollar need, but a need nonetheless.

Ever since I started this blog, every time I would do a piece on one of the pimps in the pulpit, these dazzling examples of vapid theological emptiness whose only concern is getting more stuff and whose only message is that God wants you to have more stuff, there would be the inevitable handful of e-mails insisting that these men were harmless.

Some even went on to rebuke me for attacking the ‘men of God’, and not taking the time to understand the immense burden and responsibility they are carrying on their shoulders.

The older I get the less inclined I am to suffer fools, and unless someone is sincere and open about hearing the truth, I tend to let those comments just float on by.

By now, most of those whose heads are not firmly buried in the sand are realizing that such wolves within the household of faith are not harmless, and that their brand of theology has rendered the church impotent, powerless, and fearful. The smell of cowardice wafts from the halls of many a grand tabernacle, and when it comes to serious matters, Biblical matters, matters of righteousness and holiness and purity unto God, you can hear the crickets chirp, and not much else.

We are breeding cowards, and teaching the art of compromise to those who ought to be fearless warriors of the cross, and whose position ought to be crystal clear from the onset.

God has not wrought this upon us, the pulpit pimps have, and rather than call them out on it, believers still defend them and stand up for them.

The enemy marches, and there isn’t even a token opposition from the church. The devil’s not even breaking sweat, yet we’re still prancing about calling ourselves the apple of God’s eye, and demanding the sheep sheer themselves and send in as much as they can, because we deserve to travel in style given the cesspool of heresy we’ve encouraged them to wallow in all these years.

What floors me is that even now, with all that’s going on in the world, with all the signs pointing to some of the most turbulent times the world has ever seen, these people still have a following, and Christians are still willing to come to their defense even though they are not as willing to come to the defense of Christ.

In the age of idolatry, wherein men are deemed little gods and their word is law, it is safe to realize that they are anything but harmless.

With love in Christ,
Michael Boldea Jr.

So it’s settled. [THY WORD o LORD IS STTLED IN HEAVEN] No further discussion need be had [TIME'S UP], no insistence upon scouring Biblical text to see the truth contained therein [TOO LATE FOR THAT], just take it at face value and move along [DON'T ASK GOD -- JUST BELIEVE WHAT YOU WANT]: Jesus died so Creflo Dollar could get his 65 million dollar jet [YES HE DID. HE DIED SO CREFLO COULD FIND THE TRUE REST OF GOD, and FIND A TRUST ONLY IN JESUS (no not a literal JET, but He did die so Creflo could come into a true faith in God]. If you haven’t as yet mortgaged your home [If you can still hear the word of GOd] and sent him the proceeds thereof [allowed the powers of Hell to completely consume you], you possess no faith [MOST in the kingdom God do not really have true faith -- thye believe the Gospel about as much as the devils do], and as such you will never reach the heights [TRULY BELIEVING THE WORD OF GOD] of prosperity [the OVERFLOW Of God's Grace in your life] wherein you may one day hope to own a shack [a dwelling place] in the same zip code as Creflo [RESTING and ABIDING in CHrist].

First of all, EVERYTHING I HAVE WRITTEN IS ONLY A SPIRITUAL INTERPRETATION Of what was written. IT IS IN NO WAY ENDORSING OR GIVING ANY CREDENCE TO CREFLO as a true servant of God. The Doctrines he preaches will lead MANY to the lake of fire and destruction.

WE must UNDERSTAND this way is MUCH MORE NARROW than we have been led to believe. It is a way that ONLY allows the Word of God to dwell in us. We cannot do ANYTHING unless He leads us and we MUST choose EVERY SECOND OF EVERY DAY to TRULY OBEY HIM. This is the day where God pours out His Glory on the CHurch. Many that read these blogs are not prepared. Like one said, this is a time to CONSTANTLY stay before the Lord and allow Him to prepare us. ASKING HIM about EVERYTHING and OBEYING EVERY COMMAND HE GIVES US. WE MUST NOT GIVE UP and WE MUST ALLOW HIS FINISHED WORK TO BE DONE. For when the GLORY FALLS, if you are in the way, you will be sorry.

I think there are very few who understand righteousness and a fear of the Lord. It's very, very sad that so few truly know God. Thank you for standing up for truth.

When a church does not have the Presence of God, that is when they resort to worldly music, entertainment and worldly methods for raising money.

"Pimps in the pulpit": a perfect description for too many TV preachers.

Yes, the wolves in sheep’s clothing are doing damage for sure. Not only to the herd but as bad misrepresentation of Christianity. But my own personal experience makes me wonder if those who clamor after the false prophets and desire to believe false doctrine are being sifted now. Are we now in the period when the sheep and the goats are being defined? The tares exposed? I don’t know but it seems that way.

When God called me out of a Vision/Dreams/Prophecy cult I prayed about whether or not to sound the alarm. Of the handful I tried to reach, not one listened to me. Their excuses were irrational - mostly fear driven but also from strongholds that keep them attracted to mysticism whatever name it takes, even Christian.

Though others have come out over the years, the ones I thought should have been able to see, not only did not, but cut off speaking with me because the cult leader, feeling threatened by those who left, demanded that his ‘faithful’ stop all communication with the heretics and those accused of having a 'Jezebel spirit'.

And so it goes. Seems that the antichrist spirit is running amuck nowadays. Those with eyes to see and ears to hear will and soon I pray. At some point those who refuse will be blinded lest they see. Tough words.

I believe it boils down to one thing...people don't like things that depress them and the world's culture of the need to constantly "be happy" feeds into that.

Those of us who understand the signs of the times, and a need to be realistic about how things are proceeding, are seen as being a drag to those who want to live their upbeat, optimistic, life is to be enjoyed, type of mentality. They all rush to shoot the messenger when it is a message that is deemed to be a downer, rather than take a step back to see if there be truth in it.

The church is full of worldlings, the tares now outnumber the wheat, and sadly it will be so until a great shaking happens that will cause some of those people to get their heads out of their collective attitude of deserving to always be happy. And even then, they will probably find someone to blame. Such is the nature of sin that beats within the hearts of those who do not seek holiness and a close walk with Jesus.

We have been warned by Jesus that there will be those who will curse us and persecute us, all the while being deceived into believing they are actually doing God's will. It is up to us to prepare ourselves for such an onslaught because those have itchy ears are increasing at an alarming rate.

I never had much of a use for Creflo A. Dollar. My friend refers to him as the pastor who calls himself Send Me A Dollar. That is what it sounds like, Increase Flow A Dollar. What a joke. But some of the people on TV that others love to hate I don't mind. I still like Pastor Joseph Prince, even though he says some ambiguous sounding things like all of your sins past present and future are forgiven. I think he is there to reach those who aren't really looking to be beat over the head with the Gospel but who want some cheering up and solace. There is room for the severe pastors and the good times pastors. I think God is mutli-faceted.

Damned shame to see con artists like this profit from the field of televangelism.
