I woke up this morning, and as I have grown accustomed, after my morning prayer I turned on my laptop. After logging on, I went to a news sight I visit sometimes, just to see what's happening on this spinning rock we call home.
I was in the process of wiping sleep from my eyes, when an image popped up that did more to bring me to full alert status than a cold shower and a slap in the face combined. Grinning back at me, pixilated in high resolution, were the faces of Mahmoud Ahmadinajad and Vladimir Putin, the two men shaking hands, the bond of friendship evident on their faces.
For those of you that were still uncertain whom the democracy loving Vladimir would side with, well, you've gotten your answer.
I got the gnawing feeling, looking at that picture that I was witnessing the chess master and his unwitting pawn. You see, hate has a way of blinding you to other men's agendas, and as long as the man promises to 'have your back' to support you in your endeavor to exterminate, eradicate, or otherwise wipe off the face of the earth the object of your seething hatred, you don't question whether or not he has hidden motives, or what's in it for him.
I believe that in the eyes of Vladimir Putin, mad Mahmoud and his ilk, are a means to an end. The oil surplus is just a pleasant bonus, but his intentions are, what they have always been, to use third party nations, nations that harbor murderous hatred toward America to do his dirty work, to weaken us both financially, and militarily, so that when the opportune time comes, we would be too weak to put up a fight.
The pieces are falling into place with startling rapidity, I believe I talked about new alliances being forged against America on this very site, about a week ago, and now we are seeing it come to fruition.
If you're worried now, I have some bad news for you, this is only the beginning.
The number one rule in planning and executing such a monumental shift of power, is to consistently and without fail assess your enemy's resolve, to know his strengths and weaknesses, always prodding, always looking for the chink in the armor, that instant when due to either distraction or lack of concentration, he lets down his guard.
Let's be honest, there are more chinks in the armor than we can count, and anyone of them can be exploited in such a way that they would have disastrous ramifications.
With all these things taking place, it's good to know our refuge is certain, and our protection prepared. There are benefits to being a true servant of God, an though they may not be the yachts, private jets, and palaces some believe, in the coming months, I would take the peace of mind that God offers over those things any day of the week.
With love in Christ,
