And There Will Be Signs...

I don’t know. Maybe it’s just me. But when the earth literally starts to open up and swallow people whole, maybe it’s worth a moment’s worth of introspection, self-analysis, and objective critique of the wisdom of our inclinations.

Perhaps we are too far gone in our rebellion to acknowledge or even realize what is happening. Perhaps we’ve just decided to grit our teeth, set our jaws, and in spite of all God’s warnings still follow our own path and do as we please.

Strange things are happening in the world. Signs are manifesting themselves with eerie regularity, and they have befuddled even supposed men of science. Although science might have a difficult time explaining these signs, they are things spoken of in the Bible as warnings and judgments against rebellion.

It was at the height of Korah’s rebellion that the earth opened up and swallowed him and his family. Not meaning to disparage Charlton Heston’s acting chops in any way, but the earth swallowing up Korah and his family, and the fire which devoured two hundred and fifty others, were two separate events which occurred almost simultaneously.

Why I mention this, is because there is bound to be someone who will shrug off sinkholes opening up and swallowing men whole because there was no fire accompanying them.

Lest one think these signs are confined only to North America, Egypt has been seeing an unprecedented invasion of locusts, likewise reminiscent of the days of Moses, which only begs the question, what’s next on the horizon?

When we couple the signs in the earth with the signs in the heavens, throw in the earthquakes, the wars, the rumors of war, and what will soon be the mother of famines upon many a nation for good measure, we get a pretty clear idea of where we are and where we are headed.

Whenever I start to write about the end times, what the Bible says about the end times, or about prophecies concerning the end times, there are always e-mails and comments accusing me of being a fear monger, a fatalist, or a doomsday prognosticator. I do not write concerning these things to frighten anyone, but to make you aware of the times you are living in, and hopefully encourage you to draw closer to He who is able to safeguard you and yours from the trying days ahead.

I do not revel in pointing out the signs that are all around us, but by the same token I cannot bury my head in the sand and pretend as though they are not manifesting.

Those with eyes to see, see what is happening all around them and as such shore up what is lacking in their spiritual lives, and learn to grow increasingly dependent upon God.

Those with no eyes to see, or worse yet, those who see but talk themselves into believing that their ingenuity and self-reliance will carry them through, will continue their lukewarm existence, content with a form of godliness, and a shadow of the reality they ought to be living.

The days will wait for no man, and whether we are found ready, prepared, fully armored and ready for battle or we are found sleeping the blissful – yet ultimately fatal – sleep of the ignorant and nominal, will be entirely up to us as individuals.

Save for chariots of fire perhaps, the signs could not be any clearer, and they ought to serve as a final wakeup call for those still inclined to slumber just a while longer.

With love in Christ,
Michael Boldea Jr.

Mike,
Thanks for the reminders of what is happening in the world.
I keep saying that the economy is never coming back and I get scorned and have people tell me move to where there are jobs.
So a person moves to where the jobs are at what happens when those jobs disappear?

Great post! It's amazing the prophetic signs all around us, and yet they ask for more signs. I would like to share this post on my blog, if that's ok with you. Amazing insights.

Some people have so much turmoil in their personal lives, they don't need to look outside themselves for a reason to reflect and draw close to God. The sinkholes and wars are just an endnote to the drama, a confirmation that things are moving along towards their final outcome. People who have nothing to worry about probably don't care about the locusts and earthquakes, because it is not reflective of their own lives.

Netanyahu just said that Iran is even closer to having a nuclear bomb, but they haven't yet crossed the red line of prompting attack by Isreal, though no one else is moving to stop Iran either. North Korea now has an intercontinental missile that can launch a nuclear warhead and send it to the USA.

Jesus said don't be afraid of wars and rumors of wars, because these are the growing pains before the final tribulation. In Christ there is peace.

The stars will fall from the heavens, look at the Russian Meteor a couple of weeks ago. Also there was one in Michigan that was witnessed by some Christians, a bright meteor that fell here.

I know that this is just a drop in the bucket of what is to come, may we remain close to the Lord as these days are upon us.

The "chariots of fire" could be all these comets and meteorites that have befallen us lately.

i dont see you or the others who warn about what is going on as a fear monger. There is a saying "It is what it is" thank you for warning everyone so we can get right

Anonymous said...

Quit being a fear monger and a fatalist ;-)

Yes, they do say that along with ant-American etc because we won't engage in praying that America becomes prosperous again. Sorry folks, it's time to be praying for the lost, and as such, steal them from the frying pan because that's where things are. There's a reason that the USA in not mentioned in the Bible, though many try to assign other considerations as proof that it is.

After drought, storms, floods, earthquakes, sinkholes etc there won't be much left except to to Christ.

Keep sharing, as Watchmen we must, without restraint.

"and what will soon be the mother of famines upon many a nation for good measure,"

Amo 8:11
Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:

Dan, how can you say America is not in God's Word? The superpower of superpowers of all times and you think God wouldn't mention it?

I think a lot of confusion comes from people being taught it's either Jew or Gentile, which is a complete lie.

2 things to consider:
1. Who is Israel?
2. The prophecy of Ephraim and Mannasah.
Most people don't know who they are. God even says that in the OT.

Here's a basic outline of Israel:
I hope this helps to open eyes.

Part 1

Start with:
1 Kings 11:29-32
The 12 tribes were split!
JUDAH ( Benjamin and the Levitical Priests went with them) went their way, (Rehoboam, Solomon's son was their King)
10 Northern tribes went their way. (Jeroboam their King)
1Ki 11:13
Howbeit I will not rend away all the kingdom; but will give one tribe to thy son for David my servant's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake which I have chosen.
1Ki 11:28
And the man Jeroboam was a mighty man of valour: and Solomon seeing the young man that he was industrious, he made him ruler over all the charge of the house of Joseph. (10 Northern Tribes)
1Ki 11:29
And it came to pass at that time when Jeroboam went out of Jerusalem, that the prophet Ahijah the Shilonite found him in the way; and he had clad himself with a new garment; and they two were alone in the field:
1Ki 11:30
And Ahijah caught the new garment that was on him, and rent it in twelve pieces:
1Ki 11:31
And he said to Jeroboam, Take thee ten pieces: for thus saith the LORD, the God of Israel, Behold, I will rend the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and will give ten tribes to thee:
1Ki 11:32
(But he shall have one tribe for my servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:)
he = This was Solomon, his son Rehoboam ruled after him. ( the king line / Tribe of Judah). Benjamin was the Tribe that went with Solomon, also the Levites & Levitical Priests went with them. The Levites were not considered a Tribe. They had no inheritance, God was their inheritance.
1Ki 11:35 Talking to Jeroboam
But I will take the kingdom out of his son's hand, and will give it unto thee, even ten tribes.
1Ki 11:38 Still talking to jeroboam
And it shall be, if thou wilt hearken unto all that I command thee, and wilt walk in my ways, and do that is right in my sight, to keep my statutes and my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with thee, and build thee a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto thee.

This is where the 10 Northern Tribes became known as ISRAEL!

Part 2

The 10 Northern tribes are also known in the bible as:
Ephraim
Samaria (capital of the 10 tribes)
10 Northern tribes
ISRAEL
Joseph
and others
(Eze 37:16-17 The 2 sticks are rejoined in the millenium)

When the 10 tribes went into captivity, the Assyrian took them out of their lands. When they came out of captivity, they didn't have any lands to go back to!!! 2 Kings 17: 24....
2Ki 17:6
In the ninth year of Hoshea, the king of Assyria took Samaria, and carried Israel away into Assyria, and placed them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes. The 10 Northern Tribes were also called Samaria because they were the largest of the 10, and was the capital of the 10.
Verses 7-17 Tells you why they went into captivity
2Ki 17:18
Therefore the LORD was very angry with Israel, and removed them out of his sight: there was none left but the tribe of Judah only.
2Ki 17:23
Until the LORD removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said by all his servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out of their own land to Assyria unto this day.
2Ki 17:24
And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof. (It's interesting to read see what happened to these people.)
Also:
2Ki 18:9
And it came to pass in the fourth year of king Hezekiah, which was the seventh year of Hoshea son of Elah king of Israel, that Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against Samaria, and besieged it. (Shalmaneser commenced the siege; Sargon completed it after 3 yrs)
2Ki 18:10
And at the end of three years they took it: even in the sixth year of Hezekiah, that is the ninth year of Hoshea king of Israel, Samaria was taken.
2Ki 18:11
And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes:

The 10 Northern Tribes didn't have any land to go back to.
They wen't up over the Caucacus mountains and migrated into Europe > Ireland > America's > Australia, and others. That's why were called Caucasion today. Mostly the Christian nations today.

A few went to Judah, but the most of them went up over the Caucasus mountains (why were called Caucasian today), then migrated to Europe > the America's and Australia, Ireland, and other places. Basically, your christian nations today. (But not limited to) God said HE would scatter them.
Remember:
Israel (10 Northern Tribes) went into captivity from the Assyrian, Sargon/Sennacerib.
Judah went into captiviy almost 200 yrs later from the Babylonian, Nebuchadnezzer

Part 3

We are part of Israel!
At the very most, Israel in Jerusalem is Judah! (only 1 of the 12 tribes)

Also, read Gen 49.
Jacob being the father of all 12 tribes, and what ALL 12 Tribes will be doing and and what they will be like in the ' last days '.
Which PROVES that all 12 Tribes will be on earth ' in the last days '!!!

Now go to Gen 49:22:
Joseph had 2 sons, Ephraim and Manasseh. (Gen 48:9-20 read about what their blessings were)
Ephraim was the oldest (1st fruits/double blessing)
BUT, God blessed Manasseh as the (1st fruit/double blessing) (Eze 37:16: For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim....)

I ask you: who is the Super Power of the nations today?
Think about it.

When Judah came out of captivity with the Babylonians, they went back to their land. Also:
Gen 49:10
The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. (Shiloh is Christ = The king line will be untill Christ comes)
The sceptre is basically the ' King line '. God is saying Judah will ALWAYS carry the king line.
Question? Of the christian nations today who still has a king?
(It's also used as: a staff, stick, rod - for supporting ; used of God for ' a rod of correction ' to all nations.) (H7626)

Jer 24 Read it, It's - to and about - the tribe of Judah
God tells them HE will bring them together as a nation again in the future! ( happened in 1948 ) Jerusalem
And how there would be 2 baskets of figs there. (types of people - Judah and kentites)
Jer 24:2
One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.
Jer 24:4
Then said the LORD unto me, What seest thou, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
Jer 24:6
For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

There are many verses in the OT that refer to Judah & Israel in the same verse, and chaper, they will NOT be joined
again until the millenium.

Eze 37 Tells of the dry bones. (Spiritually dead, biblically illiterate) but in verse 16:
Eze 37:16 These 2 sticks wil be joined back together in the millenium
Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his companions:
Judah's companions were: Benjamin & Levites (and Levitical Priests) Notice it says ' children of Israel'.
Joseph's / Ephraim's companions were: The 10 northern Tribes (scattered at this point) House of Israel

Do you see where Ephraim (the largest and capital of the 10 Tribes), is also in prophecy as Joseph?
Those 2 propheies (Gen Gen 48:9-20 & Gen 49) are very important!

Part 4

Eze 37:17
And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. (happens in the millenium)
Eze 37:19
Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand.
Eze 37:21
And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land:

Some other notes:

Zec 1:19 Horns are ' power(s) '
And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.
Zec 1:21
Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.

The Book of Hebrews is written to the ' Diaspora ', or the ' Dispersed '. Those 10 Northern Tribes that were not in
that area any longer.
Hebrew, if you take it to the prime, it's Eber. Those who crossed over the river, or those in another region, those beyond the sea, region beyond or across, side, region across or beyond. (H5676) Paul knew where they were.

Judah is not Israel.

God is not the author of confusion. But, Babyon (which means confusion), is.
Think of the 2 basket of figs that were to come back to Jerusalem. That evil basket of figs (which are everywhere now), have been working overtime for years to confuse our people. ( all 12 Tribes)
They've convinced our people that they are gentiles, or that all 12 Tribes are of the Jews. This is a lie. Many people do not study the OT to know what God's Word says about things. They are FULL of deception!
The Orthodox and Ultra Orthodox Jews (who don't believe Jesus was the the Son of God in the flesh), believe there are ' Jews and gentiles ' period. God's Word says different. They have been called the ' Lost 10 Tribes ', God didn't lose any of them. HE know exactly where they are. God also shows us in Gen 49 what all 12 Tribes will be like and what they would be doing in ' the last days '. They are here on earth right now, as they always have been from their beginning.

Will you be deceived?

Isreal is either ALL 12 Tribes or the 10 Northern Tribes. You have to rightly divide the Word to know which it's referring to.

Here's a little tidbit:
God said Israel would be known through Issac. Issac is pronounced 'yee sak'
Over time I believe the 'yee' became 'the'.
Issac's sons = yee saks sons = The Saxons. Interesting how language morphs over time.
