Madness

Daniel 4:30, “The king spoke, saying, ‘Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?”

These were the last words uttered by King Nebuchadnezzar before his descent into madness, and for seven years he wandered the wilderness eating grass, until his hair had grown like eagles’ feathers, and his nails like birds’ claws. His insanity was not a gradual progression, but an instant removal of his reason, logic and humanity. In the blink of an eye, the once proud king, the man who walked about the royal palace glorying in his excess and accomplishments became nothing more than a beast, a mindless animal in human form.

I often wonder if we as a nation are not descending into the selfsame madness, if as a nation we have not abandoned logic and reason altogether all the while contemplating our mighty power and all that we have constructed for the honor of our majesty.

It’s hard to argue the case that we are still sane and in control of our faculties when not a word is uttered in protest by our duly appointed leaders as ‘the pedophile’s guide to love and pleasure’ is published and marketed in this country, but one nativity scene in a public place whips them up into a frenzy, causing them to foam at the mouth in rage, as they decry the obscenity of such a blatant display of religious zealotry.

Men writing books on how to molest children, sure no problem, freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and all that good stuff we like to talk about.

A nativity scene on your front lawn, well we can’t have that you know, there are limits even to freedoms, we can’t have anarchy and chaos now can we?

Now before the e-mails start pouring in, this article is not about whether Jesus was born in June or in December, or whether we ought to celebrate the birth of Jesus. This article is about the sheer insanity that is gripping this nation ever more tightly to the point that it is choking of logic and reason altogether.

We stand before the precipice of being silenced, gagged, bagged and tagged, allowed to freely express only preapproved opinions, sanitized, prepackaged, and in lockstep with our betters, becoming a giant amalgam of automatons too fearful of reprisal to step out of line. The mask that is the illusion of freedom is slowly slipping off in this nation, and what lies beneath is a truly frightful thing to behold.

How far down the rabbit hole will we descend? How much more madness is yet to be displayed passing itself off as normal? Only time will tell, but I fear by the time enough people have awoken from their stupor, by the time enough people have been jarred awake from their slumber, what now remains of sanity will have been lost and the many will remain subject to the madness of the few.

With love in Christ,
Michael Boldea Jr.

Yes, things are bad in this nation! Yet when I see a situation like the rains in California the past 7 days, my instinct is to cry out to God, just like Ezekiah did. I just can't help it! It's my natural reaction! I find myself wondering how I can even have feeling anymore to cry out like that for this nation? But when I need them, those feelings are there.

No matter how bad this country gets remember that the bible says God will save a nation for just one person, one righteous person in it. It's not about how bad a nation can get but rather God's mercy. That is what it is all about. I really do believe that! It's not about how sinful a nation can get, but rather if there is even one person left in that nation who is willing to stand in the gap and then it is up to God to when He will pronounce judgement against that nation.

Is this nation mad? Yes, it is. I hate what I see going on in it. It's best not to concentrate on what its doing! But I believe the Bride of Christ lives in this nation. Either God is going to have to get them out of the nation or else He is going to perserve it for awhile. After the tribulation, of course, the wrath comes on all nations and God will keep those who have kept the word of His patience from that hour that is coming upon the world to try it.

I see a lot of alarmist saying all the things they think God will do to the US. Nothing will happen to it until God decides its time to.

God has perserved this nation during 40 years of abortion. That is even beyond my ability to understand, I don't understand why it hasn't been dealt with already. But I guess God knows something I don't know.

I think soon enough our days are going to be vastly different than what they are now when the tribulation finally starts. It's not good choic, the only choice for the days we live in now is to have the tribulation happen. And I don't look forward to that either!

These are days like we've never had before. Israel is returning and fearing God, we don't know how this is going to affect God's judgement on a nation. The true church will more faithful to God in these last days than any time in history. It is a unqiue time! I don't think God is just going to destroy Isreal in the last days because these nations are sinful when they have finally turned to Him. God is somehow going to protect this God fearing Israel that has returned to him, and this is going to play a big part in the end days.

God said it would be this way as time draws to an end. Still, you are right in that it IS shocking!

It's best not to concentrate on what happens in this nation. That is what I have learned. Just don't think about it much.

God's been extremely merciful to let this nation exist with 40 years of abortions under it's belt, but He is.

These are unique days. Israel is returning and fearing God. The church will be restored and Israel will return to God as it never has in any time in history.

I'm sure this Bride of Christ is effecting the judgements that God is bringing upon the nations.

In the tribulation only those who have kept the Word of His patience will be kept from the hour that is coming upon the world. Who are those people? I think they are the people who have seen the truth about the apostate churches for years now, some of us for 30 yrs. or more, and suffered because if it over the years. All others are already determined to go into captivity or death.

I love to read all your posts but this one really hit home today.

I was just talking to a friend of mine (online as she lives in another state)about how our world is falling apart but so many people don't see it.

It is as if they are in a drugged stupor or have blinders on!

Thank you for your ministry.

Michael,

you are so right...our country has lost it sense of reason. I don't know about others but I have seen people not care about anything but themselves more and more in the last few years. Nothing shocks people...maybe it's hard times, maybe we have just lost sight of right and wrong..but most would agree it's a sad country we live in now.
I must confess, I feel numb at times. Sometimes you want to scream about how wrong something has become, but no one cares or listens.
What happened to the America I grew up in?

God Bless!

Thanks again for putting it all into words for us again. It is comforting to hear the truth from a like-minded brother, though the future for our nation is as you say, truly frightful. The Lord is faithful to tell us ahead of time out of the mouth of His prophets, even though we are not listening. And history repeats itself. The weight of sin upon our nation is so heavy, it is trying to suffocate the righteous man. Its darkness is trying to put out our light. Like David Wilkerson said many years ago, the Lord will raise up a standard against the flood of iniguity. Once in a while I think about the dragon spueing out his flood of iniquity to destroy the manchild. I wonder if it is soon that the Lord will cause the earth to open up its mouth and swallow up the flood.
Bless you brother Michael

A madman does not know his madness. The insane do not know they are insane.Try talking to people like this and they think you are the one insane or mad.The reality they have created in their own mind is not of gods kingdom or from his word.To them darkness is the light, and the true light of christ is the darkness. When I hear people like this talk and see how much influence they have in our nation I realize how far we have fallen, and also realize how important it is to tell the truth of christ to those around me.Darkness and coldness is sweeping across the globe, and their is only one way to combat this, jesus, the way the truth and the light.May he be with us and give us the strenghth we need to overcome the darkness.
