Sometimes Silence Speaks More Than Words Ever Could!

My mom used to say at the supper table when it grew silent, "If no one is talking, the food must be pretty good."
Maybe Michael, the food is pretty good here at your blog, the meat of the Word is feeding us.
God bless you!

The time is near when there will be nothing and no one to save the foolish ones who did not heed the words of Messiah Jesus. The door will be shut and it wull be tio late for many who assumed they could serve two masters. We won't be able to help them.Matthew 25:9
God told Jeremiah many times to STOP praying for "his people", it was too late for them to repent and be spared from the sure coming judgment he was sending.
There is an ominous silence before.the wrath of God is delivered to the inhabitants of the decadent, reprobate, rebel planet. Revelation 8:1 Marcel in Florida

P.S., Hell will be filled with the religous who assumed that God would give them more time to get it right, to repent. Their sincere prayers in hell will be met with silence. The war for your eternal soul is not a video game that you can redo.

Dear Brother Michael,
That is true but we miss your insight!

Ain't that the truth. My narcissistic relatives loved to use the "silent treatment" to punish me whenever I displeased them. To this day I struggle with not assuming that I'm being "punished" when God seems silent. I fight against feeling like I'm some kind of performing bear that has to work harder at appeasing an angry God so that He'll start speaking to me again. I can't say I was thrilled to see your (non) post. Brought back a lot of unhappy memories.

Mr. Bodea,

Your words are words of encouragement. There are so many pastors with false teachings. It is hard to discern falsehoods from truth. Whether you like it or not, you are a leader. And you have a large audience that depends on you for words of encoiragement and wisdom. You once had a revelation that you didnt share. The angel in your dream told you that you needed to share, that you were meant to share. We look to our scriptures, but as christians in this fight, we also need our leaders. When you dont speak, many grow discouraged. When you do spesk, we are encouraged and continue to search and seek. Everyone has a different gift..I believe yours is of discernment and you have an azing ability to reach those of the fold that would otherwise be lost. Please dont lose hope on all of us because we havent lost hope in our savior, eho is working in and through you now. May Gods hand continue to be upon you and bless you and your family in your work for the Lord. And may you be filled with the holy spirit so you can continue to help guide all Christians to be humble, faithful, and strengthen their spirits with your wisdom. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

2. Through being deprived for so long a time of the privilege of preaching the Word to sinners and saints, the Lord has been pleased to create in me a longing for this blessed work, and to give me at the same time to feel the importance of it, in a degree in which I never had experienced it before. Thus the Lord has fitted me somewhat more for His work, by laying me aside from it. Good therefore is the Lord, and kind indeed, in disabling me from preaching. Great has been my trial, after the self-willed old nature, not to be able to preach; and long ere this, unfit as I was for it, I should have resumed the work, had I followed my own will; but hitherto have I considered it most for the glory of God, quietly to refrain from outward service, in order to glorify Him by patient submission, till my Lord shall be pleased to condescend to call His servant forth again for active engagements. And then, I know, He will give me grace, cheerfully to go back to the delightful service of pointing sinners to the Lamb of God, and of feeding the church.
3. Through this affliction I have known experimentally in a higher degree than I knew it before, how, if obliged to refrain from active service, one can nevertheless as really and truly help the armies of Jesus, through secret prayer, as if one were actively engaged in the proclamation of the truth.—This point brings to my mind a truth, of which we all need to be reminded frequently, even this, that at all times, and under all circumstances, we may really and truly serve the Lord, and fight for His kingdom, by seeking to manifest His mind, and by giving ourselves to prayer. True Michael,
But it will be taken many ways. The blind do not know that they are. Those bound by the traditions of their fathers will only hold fast to what they believe. We were given a more sure sign of prophesy: the Holy Spirit who leads into all Truth. Only those who believe in the gift of God will see and know the signs. All others: no matter how prideful, slumber or are oil-less virgins.

My freind and brother, now is the time when there seems ther eis none that understand, none that want to hear, and none that want to repent. But once the angel showed your grandfather that in the muddy river when the light was shown in the water there were fish there he didnt see before. We just have to hold onto this. But I am telling you, I am very apprehensive lately, and it is surrel that which is around us. The words you post of encouragement and correction are welcomed. God bless you.

I am responding to the Anonymous who said that she was having a hard time when God is silent because of her past in which others gave her the silent treatment for punishment. I'm sorry that people treated you in that way, and yes, I can see how that would revisit you when you felt God was silent. Perhaps by this coming up again, He is showing you that hurt remains, and that He'd like to heal it for you. How? By talking to Him about it, and then giving it to Him. If unforgiveness is still part of the equation, maybe you could do that. If your not ready, but you want to be ready, tell Him and He will get you there. He is so wonderful how He communicates with us in love, without "talking," but also in situations that come up as this one did, just through an unpost as someone called it. He is always here 24/7, as He lives in you. Wow!!! So, He definately does not ignore or shun us, but is highly attentive anytime we need Him. I will pray for you that you would allow Him to heal your hurt in this area, and be set free. He came for that!!! Amen.
