The Heart of The Matter

I get the feeling sometimes we just like to pick fights. As such, we look for reasons to be offended, we look for contrarian positions, we scratch and scratch until the itch becomes a wound, and when it begins to fester we scratch some more, because there is a disquiet about us that we can’t quite put our finger on. This disquiet is growing more pronounced with each passing day. If you are at all aware of the spiritual climate around you, you will know I speak truth.

Many in today’s hyper speed society have lost the ability to still themselves. They’ve abandoned reason in lieu of self-importance and as such cling to their position, even if it is tangential, obscure, and even irrelevant in the great scheme of things.

I’ve been privy to wars of words between individuals who claim to be brothers in the Lord going on for the better part of a decade, because they could not agree on the exact day that Jesus was born. Mind you, it was not whether or not Jesus is Lord, or whether He was born of a virgin, or whether He was born in a manger, but the specificity of the date…when.

The more time passed, the more heated the arguments became, until accusations of heresy were flung back and forth, as though accusing someone of heresy was comparable to accusing someone of under tipping when dining out.

And so, since opinions vary, and arguments tend to get heated, I will simply offer the following as greeting, something that no one calling themselves a servant of God can dispute, or take umbrage with:

John 3:16-18, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.”

With love in Christ,
Michael Boldea Jr.

I'm not understanding your blogging through the Hand of Help ministry. Is this a blog just for your personal ministry or do you represent Hand of Help ministry in your blogging? The reason I ask is that when I read your recent blogs and comments people have left, I'm left confused. I read the book Through The Fire Without Burning and the dreams and visions you personally have received on the Hand of Help website, but you write like you want people to not think about that at all. If you have a special calling, why write like those things are simply in the past? From everything I've read in the dreams and visions, you certainly have a special message. This just doesn't seem right.

Lately I've been following your blogs more closely and I wondered if I should comment to the 'so what' statement. Am I just to take your blogs unquestionably to heart with utmost seriousness? At what point in mankind's history did the heart of the matter shift to John chapter 3 instead of obedience being better than sacrifice? Even the Law of Moses was never the heart of the matter.
The disobedient act in the Garden of Eden could be considered the heart of the matter, but the heart of the matter my friend is that we ourselves are commanded to love the Lord our God above anything and everything. That command was the heart of the matter before and after Christ came.

We are at the door of the night when fishing will be over, when suffering and persecution will come to those who dare to continue hoping in Christ, when days of revival are forever in the past and those who know their God will shine in their exploits. Speak the truth brother!

Excellent article. In review of history of the 1st & 2nd century Ekklesia and the Jews.
The errors and battles were due over "hermeneutics".
The Jews fought over the exegesis vs eisegesis and the ekklesia "spiritualized" the exegesis - history shows both were grossly wrong.

It is time to get back to the OT/NT "Logos" in the Hebraic context, exegesis, proper "hermeneutics", and logic/reason ( in the Holy Spirit).

Sir Isaac Newton written about this 4 centuries ago - there is a reason why his writings can be found online at the Israeli library.

They are blind guides leading the blind, and if one blind person guides another, they will both fall into a ditch. Matt 15:4

is notMike, I recently discovered your blog and I don't know that many understand what is being said in John 3:16-18, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
It is my understanding in Christ that to believe in Christ is to obey his teaching. We must learn to love what he loves and what he hates so we can be like him taking up our cross daily.
John 6:27-31
Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the son of man will give to you. For on him God the father has sent his seal. Then they said to him, what must we do,to be doing the works of God? Jesus answered them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in him whom he has sent. So they said to him, "Then what sign do you do, that we may see and believe you? What work do you perform? Our fathers ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written, 'He gave them bread from heaven to eat."
1 John 3:23
And this is his command: to believe in the name of his son, Jesus Christ, and love one another as he commanded us.
So my understanding is Just as God loved our Fathers by giving them manna from heaven to eat, we must also give of ourselves. Michael, Correct me if I am wrong. I am an apprentice only.
Also, The fear of the Lord is to love what God Loves and to hate what he hates. We must practice reverent obedience.
Proverbs 8:13
God loves wisdom and hates evil
Psalm 111:10
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom
James 3:13-18
"Who is wise and understanding among you? By his good conduct let him show his works in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast and be false to the truth. This is not the wisdom that comes down from above, but is earthly, unspiritual, demonic. For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, There will be disorder and every vile practice. But the wisdom from above is first pure, Then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere. And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
All PRAISE BE TO THE LORD.
