Closer To Home

This past week we logged no less than 4,000 miles on our rental, and yes, I drove most of the way. Actually save for about twenty miles it was the whole way, but I wouldn’t want to diminish my copilot’s contribution. I don’t know how happy it will make the rental car company, but that’s what you get for offering unlimited mileage for $18 per day.

Today my brother Sergiu and I are on our way to Detroit to pick up a load of clothes and other items, and Lord willing we will be sending a container to Romania the first week of June.

Even after all these years God is still amazing, and I am still in awe of all He does.

Other than telling you where I’ll be speaking this coming Sunday, I also wanted to discuss something that’s been on my heart.

Seeing as it will be at least another six months until we finish out the series on prayer, (that’s as far as the outlines go and it’s still not quite finished) and seeing as many events of a prophetic nature are coming to pass on an almost daily basis, I’ve been seriously considering taking one day per week – as of now Friday seems as good as any – and dedicating it to current events, and things that I just need to get off my chest.

Just something I’ve been considering. Drop me a line, and tell me what you think.

We’ll even give it a quirky name like ‘The Friday Rant’, or the ‘Did That Really Just Happen Friday Roundup.’

As I wrote to a friend earlier this week, when I’m rested, I tend to type-ramble. Sorry for that.

Anyway, this Sunday, we are closer to home, in the beautiful town of Plainfield Wisconsin.

A day for current events or another topic is fine with me! I really appreciate this series on prayer -- As I've said before, I'm learning & re-learning a lot. Thanks! Cyndi in MN

Mike,
Time is short for America before judgment begins. Time has run out for the usual biblical teachings. Your teachings on the blog are excellent. WHAT YOU PLAN FOR THE FRIDAY BLOG IS NOT ENOUGH.
From now on every lesson needs to be practically applied to preparing for the dire catastrophes coming to our nation.

We are in times of emergency. It is not business as usual. Everyday we as sheep and lambs need
to be guided within the Body of Christ to complete Truth. Just as prophets of old such as Jeremiah were given practical instructions for the King and all the people we need our prophets to be doing the same as judgment is about to fall upon our nation.

I asked Our Lord to unite me with others who are truly walking with God and He led me to you in Knoxville. This is the second comment I have ever written online. I met you in person first and the spiritual connection between us was God-given. I've thanked Our Lord for His love and care. I've also asked Him to let me be a blessing to you as your load is heavy. God bless you, Mike.
Lovingly in Christ, your sister Carol

Dear Mike,
I'm not sure you received my first comment a couple of weeks ago. Since I had never done it before, it might not have gone through. So in case you didn't receive it I want you to know what it meant for me to talk with you in Knoxville. I had asked the Lord, if it was His will, to give me the opportunity to talk with you. My Lord was most gracious to me. His graciousness was reflected in your graciousness. Thank you for taking the time to talk with me and listen to what I was given by the Holy Spirit to share with you about myself.
A few days later at the end of lesson 65 I read a PS note. My heart leaped within me because I felt those words were written for me. Nevertheless I did not acknowledge it right away praying to have confirmation that the ps was for me. A week later I wrote to you sharing that your words were given to you by the Holy Spirit. They were a healing balm to my soul. I continue to receive much healing in my heart from the spiritual grace of those words. I'm surprised as it is ongoing and deep. With you I felt a deep, spiritual bond in Jesus.
I ask many blessings for you before My Father as your burden in the work of God will soon go into a deeper and higher dimension according to the seriousness of the times.
Lovingly in Christ, your sister Carol PS: I also shared about an experience I had decades ago. I was in deep prayer and worship and I felt a warm bright light appear on my forehead and remain for while. The next day in deep prayer I again felt the warm bright light centered on my forehead in the shape of a brilliant cross. I understood then that I was being sealed for My Lord Jesus' purposes and I accepted the seriousness of it humbly and gratefully.

I think that is an awesome idea! I heard you interviewed on TruNews a few weeks back and appreciate your heart for the Lord and your perspective on end time matters.
Thank you for taking the time to write this blog and the encouragement for the saints.

Yes, do the Friday rants! Your rants speak most pointedly to America's and the Church's moral dilemmas...something which occupies much of my thought and concern.

Mike that's an excellent idea. I'm for it. A lot has been on my heart too. I'm not always keen on paralleling things happening every day with prophetic fulfillments, but I am sure it is happening. I can sense in my spirit great turmoil coming. Not long from now. I just wish the church would realize it and come out of its slumber. The Lord bless and keep you Michael.

Michael

Would love to have you share what is on your heart in the midst of this series on Prayer. God is speaking very loudly in many ways to many people, but I would value what you are hearing too.

Thanks for your integrity in these things before the Lord and men.
