The Horse And The Fleas

Let me begin by saying that yes, I know I've already posted a rather long article today, for those of you who visit this site daily, but something just happened that compelled me to sit down, and bleed the following words onto the screen.
I am also well aware that if there are those of you, out there in cyberspace, still on the fence in regards to my sanity, giving me the benefit of the doubt, the following might push you over the edge. So before I lose my resolve, before I chicken out, before I unplug this apparatus and go make myself a cup of cocoa, I will venture on and say what I need to say.
I was at a friend's house no less than an hour ago, just visiting, when as he was channel surfing he happened upon a major cable news network that was interviewing a very prominent American evangelist, who also happened to be an authority on Bible Prophecy. The topic was 'the end of days' and after giving each other a look that said, 'this ought to be good', we settled in and started watching.
Near the end of the interview, the evangelist was asked if American was named anywhere in the Bible, and with the straightest face humanly possible, he said, 'no, America is not mentioned anywhere in the Bible, although Syria, Iran and Russia are.'
I liken his answer to a purely fictional story I just made up in order to illustrate the absurdity of his answer.
The story goes as follows:
A man stormed into his best friend's house, out of breath, and with a beaming smile said, 'come with me right now, there' s something I have to show you!' Because he was a good friend, the man grabbed his coat, and followed the man who had burst into his home, got into his car and they drove to a beautiful meadow, a section of which was fenced in, and within the fenced area there was a beautiful horse.
"Wow, that's a beautiful horse," the man's friend said, "it was worth the drive, that is a spectacular animal."
"I didn't bring you out here for the horse", his friend answered sternly, handing him a magnifying glass, "look at the fleas on the horse, I brought you to see the fleas."
I realize the absurdity of the story, but trust me, it makes a valid point.
We know that God does not make mistakes, He does not overlook, or otherwise omit the most important events concerning these end times. Now, let's be honest, comparatively speaking nations like Syria, or Iran are fleas in comparison to the impact the importance and the relevance America has had, and continues to have on the global scene for the past couple centuries, yet we focus on these 'fleas', finding them readily throughout the Word, all the while refusing to see that 'the horse' is more prominently mentioned in various places throughout the Bible.
In most men's minds, I believe it is the fear of facing the truth, that keeps them from seeing it on the written pages of the Bible, but as for myself, I would rather know an unpleasant truth, than believe a sugar coated lie.
I have begun a study, which with the help of God I will finish shortly on America in Bible prophecy, and will be posting it on the Hand of Help website, as soon as it is finished.
To be honest, I just had to get that off my chest so I could sleep tonight. I leave you with the peace, grace, wisdom, and mercy of our heavenly Father, and if you think less of me for having posted these thoughts, so be it.

With love in Christ,

Michael Boldea Jr.

A common problem in the church today, especially among its leaders, is that saints do not stick with what God has called them to do. An evangelist is not necessary a teacher; they are two separate offices. And though some evangelists are gifted teachers and vice-versa, there are too many who seem to think that because they are gifted for one office, or one calling, they are therefore qualified for others. I have seen this time and again, in the media and on the local level.

It is so important for us to realize that we are each part of a BODY, both universal as well as local, and each part has its purpose. When we humbly submit ourselves to the other parts, then BODY MINISTRY can occur and God can move. But when we insist on branching out beyond what God has called us to, forging our own paths, then the BODY is thereby diminished.

I know the brother to whom you refer, and he is a gifted evangelist. But, oh, would that a gifted and qualified teacher of the Word had been his place tonight! May we pray that the body of Christ achieve the unity that Paul spoke of in Ephesians 4:13--a place for every part, and every part in its place.

Blessings to you and your ministry,

RS

Michael,
Keep speaking the truth ,it has become so rare today.
There surely is a famine of the word of truth in the land.
It dosen't sell and it's all about selling.
So many want their ears tickled and the truth does not bring in the needed funds.
I'm sure this evangelsit is 'successful' in worldly terms which is where the church's heart is today.
They love the world so they protect their lords and investments.
God is not decieved. He knows their hearts and is exposing what is there for all to see.

you wrote:
"I believe it is the fear of facing the truth, that keeps them from seeing it on the written pages of the Bible "

I think it's that plus the hand of God upon those saints who have collected idols, who love compromise and lies more than they love the truth.
Jesus warned us to GUARD our hearts. They were careless and haven't heeded His warning.
Judgment has begun at the house of God and we are seeing it.
You can clearly see this 'evangelist' embraced a lie ,a strong delusion rather than the hard truth and he's selling it.

There is alot of this seperation happening around us as each soul is led in the direction their heart leads them.
Many hearts are decieved because they have placed idols before God, and there can be no dobut that this great American empire is a formidable Idol.
Too many believers having attempted to serve two masters by way of compromise and doublemindedness have fallen into a strong delusion before our eyes.

God is not decieved, only we are when we put other things before Him.

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work....
The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

I feel I must apologise to everyone for my tired, tirade at the end of my last comment posted-re the shoe through the idiot box. My brain goes to sleep at night and I don't always have my wits about me that late at night. I should have waited until the morning to post. I don't advocate physical violence to solve anything..so please forgive my rant, it was not Godly.

Regarding America in Bible prophecy, God has stated in Isaiah that the nations of the earth are as dust on the scales; He blows and they dissapear. Israel is the canary in the coal mine now. How we treat this tiny nation appointed of God as His time piece is the key to the success or failure of America. Not to dismay American Believers, but God does not have an American flag sitting on His desk (if He has a desk)! He is no respector of persons or nations (other than Israel). He has stated that Israel has always been a nation in His eyes; no matter where they were dispersed among the nations. Personally I feel America may be that great city Babylon, that spiritual city that has influence the entire world mindset these last days. It is difficult to read that the angels in Heaven rejoice at the burning of the great harlot at the end of days...does this speak of America? If we do not repent en masse as a nation for our sins of pride, abortion, greed, lust God will do to us what He did to Assyria, Babylon, Egypt, Rome and all other Kingdoms of man who rebelled in human history.
