A Public Service Post

I fly allot, at least more than the average person, and before the e-mails start flying in, no not on a private jet, but commercial coach. In fact in a few hours I will be flying to the beautiful, and somewhat warmer state of Tennessee, for a speaking engagement. As far as flying first class goes, I figure if the plane goes plunging into the side of a mountain, it won't much matter where I was sitting, plus feeding the hungry, and clothing the naked with the extra money a first class ticked would have cost, makes the short lived discomfort of touching my knees to my chin from a sitting position more than worth it.
On most airplanes they have the airline's magazines, and often due to boredom, I sometimes leaf through them. For the past few years I have noticed a trend wherein they offer a CD no more than two hours in length, that gives the highlights, or the cliff notes of the twenty most popular business books for that year. Since I don't own a business, and never plan to own one, I never did see the need to purchase the materials, but as a public service I would like to do something similar in regards to televangelist sermons.
Since some of you might not have the time to watch the endless ramblings, of the perfectly coiffed, insincere manipulators with haughty smiles and a twinkle in their eye thinking of the check you're about to write, I have decided to incorporate the essence of over 90% of said sermons in a thousand words or less:
"If you are searching, give me money."
"If you are thirsty, give me money."
"If you are hungry, give me money.
"If you are struggling, give me money."
"If you are needy, give me money."
"If you want me to pray for you, give me money."
"If you want God to hear you, give me money."
"If you want God to bless you, give me money."
"If you want to be healed, give me money."
"Cause remember now, the widow woman made the pancake for the man of God first."
I don't know about you, but there seems to be a pattern emerging, and it is neither Christ or the Cross, it is neither salvation or repentance, it is neither righteousness or sanctification.
Acts 20:28-35, "Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. For I know this, that after my departure savage wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock. Also from among yourselves men will rise up, speaking perverse things, to draw away the disciples after themselves. Therefore watch, and remember that for three years I did not cease to warn everyone night and day with tears. And now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. I have coveted no one's silver or gold or apparel. Yes, you yourselves know that these hands have provided for my necessities, and for those who were with me. I have show you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus that He said, 'It is more blessed to give than to receive."
What a difference a couple of thousand years makes. Oh that Paul were alive today, how he would weep. Just a parting thought, it is the weak, the helpless that we must support, not the inflated egos prancing around on our television screens, enticing us with promises of prosperity if we just help lay another brick in what have become their kingdoms on earth.

With love in Christ,

Michael Boldea Jr.

As my little grandaughter is often heard saying "Oh my goodness" the Lord gave me a similar word to put on my blog this morning, I sent the link to Bro Geno. Yes these false shepherds love to fleece the flock and batter the sheep. However their day is coming our Lord is giving them all just enough rope to hang themselves.
Keep the faith young brother.

As I don't have the "Privalege" of watching these big stars of religious television.......are you saying that these are actual comments of some of these tv stars ?

If so, that is enough to make you loose your appetite for a good meal.

Shame !! Shame !! I would not care to be in their shoes in the days before us.

May our Father keep our paths straight.

Theres no accountability in the Church today.
These hirelings have become the law unto themselves and the people love it so.
Those Christian leaders who should be speaking up and rebuking fellow Christian wolves who rob and hurt the flock are too worried about the cost to their air-time and standing.
Don't rock the boat is their excuse.
They've all become a sold out bunch of hirelings in it for the money and status as they fleece the flock of God and lead them astray.
God has his faithful Samuel in the midst of this corruption which He will deal with as He did before.
1 Samuel 3:10-14

Then Jesus said to them again, "Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who ever came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.
"I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. But a hireling, he who is not the shepherd, one who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees; and the wolf catches the sheep and scatters them. The hireling flees because he is a hireling and does not care about the sheep.
John 10

Not that I desire the destruction of anyone, but if the rod of iron (or fear of God) was in the heart of these mercenaries I doubt that they would be so blatant. One can see why Jesus questioned weather He would find faith on His return. It's sad that God's people have been taught not to judge by the very ones that abuse them. A spiritual Christian judges everyone and everything. These wolves cannot hide their intensions.

Dave,
I am so glad to hear you say that! I am tired of being told, "Now, don't you be judging people!" How else are we supposed to make the choices necessary for Christian living?
To be sure, it is my place to show love and compassion to those who are doing wrong, to try and show them the way... but if I can't use my God given JUDGEment to pick and choose the right path to follow I'm doomed! Arrgh!

It is sickening and shameful. They prey on the weak, vulnerable and desperate. A woman I knew some years back (who must have been listening to some of these charletains) insisted to me that "Jesus was wealthy" because "what happened to all that gold, myrrh and frankincense?" Like He had a secret stash somewhere??? I weep!

You know man of God. My wife and i recently went to a "prophetic conference" of a well known "prophet".. and we we're told that if we give, and we did give, that when we got home a miralce was waiting for us when we got home...

Since then, we've had to renew ourlease, our 3 year old neice died, we've struggled financially, my car broke down, and i had to force to get a new one, we had a very small electrical fire...and my thoughts we're God whare is the miracle your servant spoke of..

God said, son. people need to stop putting words in my mouth!

So, i've been raped by these preachers alot.. because i have a heart to give, give, give...i want to be blessed. but, it's going to be Gods way and not mans way...

When the day of the Lord comes, and God visits this earth and this country with his angels of judgment...the bible says, your riches wont' be able to save you...

Amen bro. i love u..

Yes Dave, I agree with you. The Word tells us that we will judge angles, so we should be able to judge even the smallest matters. The Word also tells us to first remove the beam out of our own eye so that we can then see clearly to remove the speck out of our brothers eye. The Word tells us in many places to judge, only it stresses righteous judgment.
When one who calls themselves a child of God, does wicked works openly, and preaches false doctrine openly, then we the body can judge them by their works openly.
People close their eyes to Truth because thats what they choose to do. They will be judged by their choices.
The favorite words of the guilty ones are "Your not suppose to judge" because thats what the false teachers, preachers and prophets teach them. God help us all.

Brothers and Sisters,

You Have to realize that the so called Christianity that we have been spoonfed in this country, is not the true Gospel. It has been at best a watered down, diluted version that has NO power to save.

Go back to Martin Luthers 95 thesis...the very first one says..."Our LORD and Master Jesus Christ, when He said Poenitentaim agite, willed that the WHOLE LIFE of believers should be repentence"...

I believe that the WORD is what saves all those who persue Jehovah after they pray the prayer...for so many claim to be saved, yet don't have the WORD to lead them, just what has already been chewed and regurgitated by the hirelings.

Yes, and there are definetly hard core, sticking to the few verses they've been taught, that REFUSE to wake up to the truth.

What a day, for such a time as this, for us to be broken for the dead and dying state of the bride of Christ...The KING of KINGS and the LORD OF LORDS and this churchianity in America is the BEST we have to PRESENT TO HIM????

I fear there will only be a small remnant from this hemisphere for HIM, unless We who see, pray unceasingly for our blind brothers and sisters caught up in this religious Babylon (REV 17) that is riding on a wicked, vile beast.

Yes, God HELP US ALL!!
